Media Party invita a profesionales y entusiastas de los medios de comunicación a participar de su clásica Hackatón: una experiencia de colaboración en equipos multidisciplinares que buscan revolucionar los medios de comunicación con soluciones, propuestas y productos innovadores.
El eje central de los contenidos de este año en Media Party es la Inteligencia Artificial y la importancia de comprender y aplicar este vasto campo en tres aspectos clave: ética, seguridad y privacidad. En esta línea, la Hackatón propone la creación de soluciones para medios utilizando IA, y cualquier proyecto enfocado en la innovación en medios es bienvenido.

Cómo funciona la dinámica de la Hackatón

Para participar tenés que estar registrado en la Media party y es importante que leas nuestras bases y condiciones.
La previa:
El viernes 6, tendremos un encuentro con los mentores que acompañarán a los equipos, una oportunidad para presentar y pulir las propuestas de los proyectos que participarán en la Hackatón. Si no podés asistir a la previa, ¡no te preocupes! Te esperamos el sábado.
Hackatón:
¿Vas a crear y presentar un prototipo innovador en un día? El sábado 7 de octubre a las 11 am, comenzará la jornada para presentar los proyectos que deberán subirse a Hackdash, una plataforma creada en una Hackatón previa para rastrear ideas. Luego, formaremos equipos multidisciplinarios. Los tutores estarán disponibles para guiarte, asegurando que todos encuentren una manera de contribuir. Después de una jornada intensa e inspiradora de trabajo, a las — pm, los proyectos se presentarán ante el jurado integrado por miembros de ICFJ, MDIF, Hacks Hackers, Hugging Face, entre otros, compitiendo por el premio de USD $5,000. Al final de la jornada, se anunciarán los 3 proyectos seleccionados.
¿Qué ocurre después?
La Hackatón es solo el comienzo. Entendemos la importancia de dar seguimiento a las propuestas para que puedan prosperar, por eso los tres proyectos principales continuarán su proceso acompañados por nuestros socios, fomentando su crecimiento a largo plazo y estableciendo relaciones duraderas.

In line with this, the Hackathon proposes the creation of media solutions using AI, and any project focused on media innovation is warmly welcomed.

Pre-event:
On Friday, October 6th, we will be hosting a gathering with the mentors who will be supporting the teams. It’s a chance to present and refine project proposals for the Hackathon. If you’re unable to attend the pre-event, no worries! We’ll be expecting you on Saturday.
Hackathon:
Are you ready to create and showcase an innovative prototype in just one day? The hackathon kicks off on Saturday, October 7th, at 11 am. This is when the project presentations begin, and they must be uploaded to Hackdash, a platform created during a previous Hackathon to track ideas. After that, we’ll form multidisciplinary teams. Our mentors will be there to guide you, ensuring that everyone finds a way to contribute. Following an intense and inspiring day of work, at — pm, projects will be presented to a jury composed of members from ICFJ, MDIF, Hacks Hackers, Hugging Face, and other esteemed organizations. They will be competing for the $5,000 USD prize. By the end of the day, we’ll announce the top 3 selected projects.

The Hackathon is just the beginning. We understand the importance of providing ongoing support to the projects so they can flourish. That’s why the three leading projects will continue their journey with the assistance of our partners, fostering long-term growth and establishing lasting relationships.
